M. Coskun performs regularly throughout Europe, America, Africa and Asia (Germany, CH, AU, F, SWE, SLOW, LUX, USA, BULG, RUM, JUG, BIH, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Iran, Turkey, Syria, Mongolia) (with ensemble FizFüz,.Early Music Freiburg - Freiburger Spielleyt, Schäl Sick Brass Band, El Houssaine Kili, Kudsi Erguner, Zekai Tunca etc.). Festivals include the POPkomm Music Trade Fair, the WOMEX ’99 Berlin,and the Sofia Jazz Festival 2002

He has also developed a solo programme, Fingerdance, which was performed at the Percussion Festival Roaring Hoofs (Mongolia 2003).
Moreover, his work includes studio works and compositions as well as TV, radio, and theatre productions.

Since 1994, Murat Coskun has taught in Germany and around the world. He is guest lecturer for Middle Eastern percussion at the Freiburg Conservatory.

In cooperation with the company ANKLANG – Music World, Murat Coskun developed the musical instrument Kandjiriqq.
